ab910 staining 200kDa + 68kDa Neurofilament in human skin tissue by Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections).Tissue was fixed in paraformaldehyde and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step was performed using citrate buffer pH 6.0. Samples were then permeabilized using 0.1% Saponin /PBS, blocked with 4% serum for 30 minutes at 25°C and then incubated with ab910 for 14 hours at 4°C. Embryonic rat cortical cells grown in tissue culture and stained with ab78159 (green), at 1/100 dilution, and an antibody for the phosphorylated axonal form of neurofilament NF-H (red). The perikaryal and dendritic neurofilaments in the Large cell in the middle are stained with ab78159 but not with the phosphorylated NF-H antibody. In contrast both antibodies stain axonal neurofilaments which therefore appear orange.
