SEE ALSO...

β3 Tubulin Antibody (2G10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects beta 3 Tubulin protein of mouse, rat, human, and bovine origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. β3 Tubulin (2G10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Beta 3 Tubulin protein plays a crucial role in the structure and function of the cytoskeleton, specifically within neurons, where beta 3 Tubulin maintains the integrity of microtubules that support cellular shape and transport. Beta 3 Tubulin predominantly localizes in the cytoplasm of neurons, where beta 3 Tubulin contributes to the formation of microtubules vital for axonal growth and stability. Beta 3 Tubulin is particularly important in the development and function of the nervous system, as beta 3 Tubulin participates in processes such as neuronal differentiation and the establishment of synaptic connections. Beta 3 Tubulin expression serves as a marker for neuronal cells, making beta 3 Tubulin a valuable tool in neurobiological research and studies related to neurodegenerative diseases.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong staining with formalin fixed neuronal cellsBought this to try with our iPSC derived neuronal lineages. Antibody produces strong staining on15 minutes formalin fixed samples without antigen retrieval.
Date published: 2021-06-28
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong signal !Application: Immunofluorescence in (4% PFA fixed) paraffin embedded specimens of rat colon using heat mediated antigen retrieval with TRIS/EDTA buffer (pH:9, 20min, 92°C) or with citrate buffer (10min, 100°C) and a dilution of 1:50. Conclusion: using the TRIS/EDTA buffer for antigen retrieval, the antibody labels with an excellent resolution all the nerve structures as expected: neurons and nerve fibres of the myenteric plexus and submucosal plexus. Using citrate buffer, the label was identical for distribution although less intense to that observed with the antigen retrieval with TRIS/EDTA buffer.
