Fc ε RIα Antibody (X-22) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the Fc epsilon RI alpha protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Fc epsilon RI alpha antibody (X-22) is available as the non-conjugated format. Fc epsilon RI alpha protein plays a crucial role in the immune response, particularly in mediating allergic reactions. Fc epsilon RI alpha functions as a component of the high-affinity IgE receptor, binding to the Fc region of immunoglobulin E with high affinity and initiating allergic responses upon allergen exposure. Fc epsilon RI alpha primarily localizes on mast cells and basophils surfaces, triggering the release of inflammatory mediators such as histamines and cytokines, leading to allergy symptoms. Fc epsilon RI alpha exists in a tetrameric structure composed of a heavily glycosylated alpha chain, a beta chain, and two disulfide-linked gamma chains, essential for function and stability.
