CD19 Antibody (F-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CD19 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CD19 (F-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CD19 is a crucial transmembrane glycoprotein that plays a significant role in B-cell development and activation, as CD19 is selectively expressed on the surface of B-lymphocytes. CD19 contains two extracellular immunoglobulin-like domains, which are essential for CD19′s function in activating intracellular signaling pathways, including the Ras and phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase pathways. This activation is vital for the cross-linking of membrane immunoglobulin chains and the subsequent recruitment of Src family protein tyrosine kinases, which are critical for B-cell signaling. CD19 expression is maintained throughout B-cell development and persists during the terminal differentiation of B-cells into plasma cells. Additionally, CD19 forms functional complexes with other B-lymphocyte surface proteins, such as integrin β1, CD21, and CD81, which are integral to the regulation of B-cell development and function.
