    SEE ALSO...

RGL1 Antibody (G-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RGL1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RGL1 (G-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RGL1, also known as RalGDS-like 1, is a 768 amino acid guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) that plays a crucial role in the activation of Ral, a key player in oncogenic Ras-induced cell transformation. RGL1 is predominantly expressed in the brain, heart, spleen, kidney, and testis, highlighting its importance in various physiological processes. Structurally, RGL1 features an N-terminal Ras-GEF domain and a C-terminal Ras-interacting domain, which allows RGL1 to interact with the GTP-bound form of Ras through its effector loop, thereby facilitating downstream signaling pathways. RGL1′s involvement in Ras and Ral signaling is significant, as dysregulation of these pathways is often associated with cancer progression. Additionally, RGL1 has two isoforms resulting from alternative splicing, which may contribute to functional diversity and regulatory mechanisms in cellular contexts.
