    SEE ALSO...

GPI-PLD Antibody (15) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects phosphatidylinositol-glycan-specific phospholipase D (GPI-PLD) in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). GPI-PLD is a crucial enzyme located in various biological fluids, including serum, liver, cerebrospinal fluid, and milk, where GPI-PLD plays a significant role in hydrolyzing the inositol phosphate linkage in proteins anchored by phosphatidylinositol-glycans. This enzymatic activity is vital for the regulation of lipid metabolism and cellular signaling pathways, particularly in the context of inflammatory responses. Notably, serum GPI-PLD activity is markedly reduced in conditions such as systemic inflammatory response syndrome, suggesting that GPI-PLD downregulation may contribute to the modulation of proinflammatory responses, thereby highlighting GPI-PLD′s potential as a biomarker for inflammatory diseases. Anti-GPI-PLD antibody (15) is an essential tool for researchers investigating GPI-PLD′s role in health and disease, providing insights into GPI-PLD function and interactions within the complex network of cellular processes.
