SVCT1 Antibody (H-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the SVCT1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SVCT1 (H-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The sodium-dependent vitamin C transporter SVCT1 plays a crucial role in the uptake of L-ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), which is essential for numerous physiological functions, including antioxidant defense, collagen synthesis, and immune function. This 604 amino acid protein is predominantly expressed in epithelial tissues such as the intestine, kidney, and liver, where SVCT1 facilitates the high-affinity transport of vitamin C, thereby influencing overall health and metabolic processes.
