hnRNP A2/B1 Antibody (4H10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects hnRNP A2/B1 in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and flow cytometry (FCM). hnRNP A2/B1 plays a crucial role in the regulation of pre-mRNA processing and is involved in the transport of mature mRNA from the nucleus to the cytoplasm, which is essential for proper gene expression and cellular function. hnRNP A2/B1 is primarily localized in the nucleus, where hnRNP A2/B1 interacts with various splicing factors to influence splice site selection, thereby ensuring the accurate processing of pre-mRNA into mature mRNA. The ability of hnRNP A2/B1 to shuttle between the nucleus and cytoplasm allows participation in multiple stages of mRNA metabolism, making hnRNP A2/B1 a key player in post-transcriptional regulation. Additionally, hnRNP A2/B1 is part of the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein family, which consists of approximately 20 known proteins that collectively form complexes critical for mRNA transcription and processing.
