SEE ALSO...

B23 Antibody (FC-8791) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects B23 (also known as nucleophosmin) in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). B23 (FC-8791) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. B23, a multifunctional protein, plays a crucial role in ribosomal assembly and ribosomal RNA transport, essential for protein synthesis in cells. B23′s nucleolar localization is particularly important for ribosome biogenesis, and disruption in this process can lead to impaired cellular function and contribute to diseases such as cancer. B23 undergoes significant post-translational modifications, including phosphorylation by Cdc2 kinase during mitosis, which regulates activity and protein interactions. B23′s interaction with various proteins, including karyopherin α and karyopherin β, highlights a role in nuclear transport, making B23 vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and function.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Western blotI used this antibody at 1:1000 dilution ON at 4°C on nitrocellulose on 30 micrograms of total extracts. It was very clean and the bands I got were intense. I am using OD 4hrs at RT now, and it is really fine.
