Peripheral blood mononuclear cells were stimulated with PMA (50 ng/mL) and PHA (1.5%) for 3 days and the supernatant collected. Supernatant from matched stimulated and unstimulated cells were assayed for CD40 Ligand expression.
Mean Human CD40 Ligand concentration was found to be 478 pg/mL. However, high variability between donors was observed.
